Let’s have a quickie… together! (in an actual orchard!)

A quickie doesn’t mean foregoing quality and pleasure. It just means there is less fussing about, the job’s done and you can focus on what comes next.  It can be done in the same amount of time it takes to run the vac over the floor or pick up the dry cleaning. But it’s more fun, you can have extra people involved and get some beautiful pictures to remember the occasion.

There are some legal requirements to getting married. Signing an intent to marry, signing a register and gaining approval of the state to do so, making a couple of promises and exchanging the rings is really all you need to be married.

Our Off Peak Weddings Quickie is taking it just a step further.  We will supply the venue, the celebrant, bubbles, canapes and a few snaps of you having your quickie. The rest is up to you. You have the freedom to choose from a long list of extras – from a luxury luncheon to a brewery bash, or a midnight supper under the stars.  You could even do your quickie in a balloon!

However you want to sneak in a quickie, do it with us!  

How your Quickie will work…

We will have multiple private ceremony spaces set up throughout the orchard available for couples to book for 1.5 hours. Once your ceremony is over, continue your celebrations in our shared outdoor reception area where we will have live music and lots of bubbles OR opt for an extra special day and book a private space with a luxe picnic set-up just for you and your guests.

Once you book your quickie with us, we will connect you with one of our celebrants to help get all of your paperwork together for your big day.

Please note as this is VERY important: All paperwork must be completed no later than Saturday 8th January if you’re booking for Monday 14th February.

Ts & Cs

Vaccination Requirements: It is a requirement that all couples and guests are fully vaccinated for either package. As The Quickie is a multiple elopement day with a shared celebratory site there will be more than just your group on the property. For this reason we have to ensure that anyone that enters the property is fully vaccinated. Anyone unvaccinated will be asked to leave unless they have an official exemption.

Numbers: Due to capacity reasons, couples will only be allowed to have the maximum number of guests shown on their ticket for their ceremony. Children above 2 years old will be counted as a guest. Couples can either choose ticket A which is for up to 10 guests or ticket B which is up to 20 guests. Additional guests will be refused entry but are more than welcome to join you for the off-site post ceremony celebrations.

Legal Paperwork: All paperwork required for your quickie must be completed and supplied to your celebrant no later than Friday 8th October.

Payment: Full payment required for booking.

Costs: Payment covers listed items only and is for part or full numbers allowed in the package chosen. The deliverables remain at the full capacity level no matter how many guests you bring on the day. No party allowed to bring more than the purchased package allocation and extras will be denied entry. OPW will not enter into discussions around this topic where a guest is asking for costs to be altered to accommodate individual numbers. As an example only, there would be no discount applied for 15 guests in the 20 guest package but canapes and drinks for 20 would be supplied to your party.

Cancellations: Quickies cancelled by the ticket holder will be refunded 50% of their total ticket payment. Quickies cancelled by the event organiser due to severe weather or lockdowns will be fully refunded.

BYO Food & Drink: Guests are not allowed to bring any food or drinks onsite. Drinks are available at the bar and food packages such as canapes and picnics can be organised prior to your day.

BYO Photographer: No photographers will be allowed to enter the venue unless booked through OPW. We ask that your guests are reminded to behave in a way that allows our professional photographers priority access to the bride, groom and guests.

Venue Opening Hours: The shared ceremony space will be available from 10am and will close at 7:30pm. We require all guests to be off site by 8:00pm.

Weather: The Quickie will only be cancelled if a severe weather warning is forecasted. We will have equipment on standby to use if wet or hot weather is forecasted.
